ABOUT REFLECTIONS

Reflections Academy of Dance was established in 2003 by Director/Principal, Melissa Riseberry.

At Reflections is it our aim to "Give every child the gift of confidence".  Every child deserves to learn the art form of dance and its many genres in a safe and friendly environment, which Reflections aspires to do.

By becoming a member of Reflections, you can watch your child grow with confidence and shine, whilst learning the skills of the industry.  Reflections is very versatile and offers many different genres of dance.  We offer classes in Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Jazz Funk/Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Lyrical Dance, Stretch and Conditioning, Leaps and Turns and Acrobatics. We offer group classes and private lessons in all genres with the aim of competing in Dance festivals, taking syllabus annual examinations and also performing in local events.

Reflections gave students the fabulous opportunity to travel to  in previous years, we look forward to doing so again. Our recent trips have included travel to Melbourne and Sydney for BBO Dance Week, where students learn form industry professionals in a dedicated dance week long course.  In April 2017 we set off  on our USA Tour for the 2nd time in 3 years, where students performed at Disneyland California, Hollywood Boulevard and Universal Studios.  Students also be attended workshops with Disney Chereographers and performers gaining a wealth of knowledge and skills to help improve and further their passion for dance.  We can not wait to keep this tradition going for future little Reflections dancers.
