Reflections Academy of Dance was established in 2003 by Director/Principal, Melissa Riseberry.

At Reflections is it our aim to "Give every child the gift of confidence".  Every child deserves to learn the art form of dance and its many genres in a safe and friendly environment, which Reflections aspires to do.

By becoming a member of Reflections, you can watch your child grow with confidence and shine, whilst learning the skills of the industry.  Reflections is very versatile and offers many different genres of dance.  We offer classes in Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Jazz Funk/Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Lyrical Dance, Stretch and Conditioning, Leaps and Turns and Acrobatics. We offer group classes and private lessons in all genres with the aim of competing in Dance festivals, taking syllabus annual examinations and also performing in local events.

Reflections Academy of Dance caters for young children from 18 months of age to Adult level learning at a beginner to pre professional level for both boys and girls.

Whether your child wants to attend classes for fun or take a more serious approach to the art form of 'Dance', Reflections has it all, we cater for students who want to attend one class a week or mutiple lessons.

Annual examinations are held at our studios with accredited examiners travelling from the Eastern States to assess our students and studio.  Reflections has been involved in examinations with the 'British Ballet Organization' for 22 years now and is pleased to report they have a 100% success rate.

Reflections also competes in local dance festivals and competitions and has had great success with placings and awards.  These have included, the West Coast Dance Festival, Mandurah Dance Festival, Rockingham Dance Festival the Kwinana Dance Festival, Scream & Shout and our most recent Rise Up and Shine Festival of Dance

Reflections believes in safe dance practice and ensures its premises are fully equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, ballet barres, acro mats, mini trampolines, wedges, and a 12 metre blow up tumble track.  Our studio is air-conditioned and has a waiting area for parents and siblings.  Reflections teaching members are fully qualified and experienced, have a great teaching and professional manner and are all working with children checked.

Reflections gave students the fabulous opportunity to travel to  in previous years, we look forward to doing so again. Our recent trips have included travel to Melbourne and Sydney for BBO Dance Week, where students learn form industry professionals in a dedicated dance week long course.  In April 2017 we set off  on our USA Tour for the 2nd time in 3 years, where students performed at Disneyland California, Hollywood Boulevard and Universal Studios.  Students also be attended workshops with Disney Chereographers and performers gaining a wealth of knowledge and skills to help improve and further their passion for dance.  We can not wait to keep this tradition going for future little Reflections dancers.
